Student Research Association Meets Tonight
The Student Research Association (SRA) will be having a meeting Tuesday 03/25 at 5:30 PM in the student lounge. We will have a brief update on plans for the rest of the semester/summer as well as some updates regarding changes to student research here at LECOM. The meeting should last roughly 30 minutes. At the upcoming Johnston Society Surgical Grand Rounds (April 5, 9 AM), Tyler Fuller will present a critical appraisal of the medical literature surrounding the use of medical devices to accelerate wound healing.
He’ll discuss the quality of the evidence, the strength of recommendations, the role of the FDA in public safety, and the impact on study outcomes when manufacturers fund clinical trials.
